Most of the time the Green Team helps organize and clean our pop cans and juice cans for recycling . The money generated from these efforts goes to our Amnesty International group ( there's a lot of cross over group members ) . We usually select a third world situation and donate our funds to some project .

Hampton High School's latest Green Initiative is to begin composting in the cafeteria . All bio-degradable food products will be collected in bins in the cafeteria . This program will begin sometime in Dec. and will be initially supported by Hampton High Green Team students who will be on hand to help students get used to the process .
