Important notice to 120 students and parents/guardians

All grade 12 students taking a French course are required by the New Brunswick Department of Education to undergo an oral proficiency interview.  During this 20 minute interview, each student will sit down with an interviewer appointed  by the province and will be required to answer a series of questions.  These questions will see the students speaking in the three main tenses and using a wide range of vocabulary.  The interview is taped on a cassette and listened to once all of the interviews are completed.   Then, the interviewer will rank the students based on their proficiency in their second language.   Within approximately  month  I will recieve the results and will share these with the students. Before the end of the semester , they will recieve an official certificate indicating their proficiency level.
